Hello

This is my first post, and it’s about me…sort of.

Why am I doing this blog?

• Because my memory is awful, and getting worse. I can write code one week and view it again, as if for the first time, the following week with only a vague recollection of having written it.
• Because I often stumble across some interesting (well, interesting to me) titbits throughout my professional life which I think would be useful to know as a developer.

This will be a place for me to capture what I’ve learnt so that others, including me, can learn or relearn too.

I’m not a “propeller-head”, a boffin or even possess a qualification in anything remotely IT related, so hopefully you’ll enjoy my ‘jargon free’ posts and maybe I can share something useful….that’s if I remember that I own this site 🙂
